26 Reasons To Vote for Mike Huckabee
It has come to my attention that a lot of people still don't know who Huck is, but I'm sure they would want to know about him if they only understood what he stands for and hopes to do. So here is my go to list of reasons to not only vote for Mike but to pray for him and to support him in any logical way possible.
1. Mike is Real. Many if not most political candidates honestly look like actors, are actors (Sorry Fred, you were my second choice before you dropped out today) or look and often act like game show host. Mike is like your Pastor or a good guy you work with, funny, bright, and even a little quirky in a good way. In other words he isn't one of them but he's one of us. When was the last time a true common man became president? It's been 20 years since we've had a president that didn't graduate from Yale, if I'm correct.
2. Mike is very, very Pro-Life. This is the Top Issue for 94% of all Evangelicals according to a new poll by Barna Research. The killing has got to end soon, each 6 years we in America kill more pre-born children than Jews were killed in the Holocaust. It's time to say goodbye to Roe vs. Wade.
3. Mike is a man of Christian Faith. I truly think he listens to the voice of God and acts accordingly most of the time. In these dark days we need a real Christian of moral fortitude in the White House.
4. Mike Wants to Protect the Southern Border. It's not just an illegal immigration issue, which is very important, but it is a national security issue. People that are our enemy get across easily and want to do us harm. If radical Islam has it's way 9-11 will be just a drop in the bucket. We need to protect our self, and Mike wants to make it happen in the next 18 months.
5. Mike Understands Separation of Church and State. He knows it's not in the constitution. He will help keep the Government from messing with the freedom of religion we enjoy in this county.
6. Mike loves our Vets. He is an active supporter of the Veterans Bill of Rights.
7. Mike has a Great Seance of Humor. The Squirrels in the popcorn popper. That's cracks me up. Again it just proves point #1.
8. Mike supports Education. That's not a typical Republican Running point but Mike is not a typical Republican. Get this, he wants more education on music and art in our schools. And Why? This promotes creativity, the stuff businesses thrive on. When business does well the county economically thrives, and we all benefit. Brilliant.
9. Mike lost a bunch of weight. Actually about 100 pounds and turned his life around in doing so. This taught him a valuable lesson concerning the health care crisis in America. 80% of health care cost in this county is due to chronic disease and most of this is preventable. Working to get America healthy instead of strapping our pocketbooks to medicate sickness could cut health care cost by one third. But these healthy people won't strap their businesses in health care cost, and their increased productivity will greatly boost our sagging economy. Then we wouldn't need socialized medicine that could double our taxes.
10. Speaking of Taxes. Mike doesn't like Income Tax and the IRS. He plans to get rid of them for good. Keep your whole paycheck, pay 23% on new items you buy instead, never file taxes again. Due to a prebate the poor will pay no tax and the middle class will pay less. Prostitutes, Pimps, Drug Dealers, Criminals, Illegal Aliens, and Foreign Guests will all help pay every time they buy anything. The hidden taxes businesses pay are added into the price of everything you buy now already at a rate of about 22% but with the Fair Tax that will be gone. Check out Fairtax.org for more details.
11. The Fair Tax Promotes Saving. When you save and don't spend you pay less tax. If you put that into stocks or mutual funds that provides capital for business, and they thrive. If small businesses which fund 80% of our economic fuel don't pay corporate taxes, they start to create jobs and innovation. Wow!
12. Mike Supports a Line Item Veto. Lets him get rid of the rancid Washing Pork!
13. Mike Supports Marriage. He wants a constitutional amendment to state it is to be between a man and a woman. He also wants our government policies to be more family friendly.
14. Mike Doesn't want us to be under the thumb of the Middle Eastern Terrorist. Mike wants us to be energy independent in the next 8 years. It will be hard but it can be done. It's a national security issue and an economic one all in one. Nations that hate us are financially soaking you and me dry every time we heat our home or fill up our gas tank. This has gone on for much too long.
15. Mike wants us to Win in Iraq. If we cut and run like the Democrats and Ron Paul want we let the terrorists win and thrive. The surge is working and we must stand strong.
16. Mike is a Friend of Israel. God smiles on those that love and protect this land, and his original chosen people. Mike Understands this and Israel role in security of the Middle East.
17. Mike has a Posse and his name is Chuck Norris. Nuff Said.
18. Mike Has Leadership Experiance. Lots of time as Arkansas Govenor. Successful former pastor. He can get the job done and knows how to do it.
19. Mike is for your Gun Owner Rights. He is a sportsman hunter, and strongly supports the 2nd Amendment.
20. Mike Knows Judges. He wants the ones that will not re-interpret the constitution but will follow it to the letter and will protect our rights.
21. Mike Cares About You. All politicians say they are on your side but all of Mikes policies work to protect you and make your life better.
22. Mike knows what it's like to be Poor. He grew up hard and never forgot where he came from. He knows you may struggle to pay for gas in your tank or to put food on the table. His policies if put in place will definitely make your life better.
23. Mike plays some pretty mean Bass Guitar.
24. Mike can bring Hope back to our Nation. He is the eternal optimist and has lots of energy and drive. So many people live with so little hope in this world but Mike knows the source of hope in his heart, and this will guide his persona, personality and leadership.
25. Consider the Alternatives. Elect the wrong person and taxes could increase or even double, our economic policies could lead to finical disaster, our country and world could be overtaken by terrorism, our borders could be overrun and we would loose National Soverenty or even the right to worship God in the way we choose. Not all of the candidates are good people, others are but support very foolish and dangerous policies.

It's Not Over
Not by a long shot. This is a battle that belongs to the Lord. The loss in South Carolina made things much more difficult but it is still possible for Mike to win. First he has more delegates than McCain, in fact he is still in second place behind Romney. There are 4 states on Super Tuesday that are likely wins, not enough to put him ahead but enough to keep him in the race.
Florida is crucial and it is next week. It has a bunch of delegates and it is winner take all. Huckabee is currently in 4th place their but only 6 points from first. A win here would be more important than anywhere up to this point, and he would be in first place in delegates and would have strong momentum towards Super Tuesday.
If he does not win in Florida, then the next best hope would be either devine intervention or a brokered convention. Both are possible and the last one could be likely. It got Abe Lincoln in office in troubled times and see what he did for this country. Stay in Prayer, now more than ever. And give generously, and pray for others of means to give the full amount allowed by law to keep this going,

Pray Today for South Carolina
No Republican candidate since 1972 has won the Primary without winning this state. And none have lost if they do. Since the field is so broad this time it might not be the same this time, but this state is very, very important. I believe God does not change the free will of man, but he can make the way free for people to make positive choices if we ask him too. He can also open people's eyes up to the truth so they can make better decisions. Pray for at least an hour today that both people of faith, people of compassion, and people who value strong conservative and family issues will come out to vote today in droves. Pray that people will be motivated to call on their friends and family and will take them to the polling places. The future of this nation and the future of the lives of hundreds of millions of people may rest on the decisions of a few. So pray hard today for a South Carolina Victory and the resources to make that happen!

Things to Pray About.
Here are some things you might want to add into your prayers.
1. Mike's stamina and health
2. South Carolina, that supporters will come out to vote, and those that have not made up their mind will be swayed.
2. Florida. It's currently a statistical 4 way tie, and this state has a large population with lots of delegates.
4. Spiritual Attacks. I'm absolutely serious about this, this is real. Mike is not just competing against his opponents but spiritual principalities and powers that are very powerful, and constantly looking for ways to attack. I can't help but think some of the venom that has been heading his way is Satanic in origin. God is more powerful than this and he will intervene and protect if we ask.
5. Super Tuesday. It's almost here and it's half the States in the Union.
6. Money. Mike has done very well considering how little he has had, but he needs a lot more and it needs to be very quick. If you have not given please donate to the campaign. and encourage others to do so. And pray that he quickly exceeds his goals. The loss in Michigan was partially due to the fact that the winner outspent him 50 to 1.

Why the Fair Tax Will Work
One of Huckabee's ideals he is promoting is the Fair Tax, a replacement for our current tax code that is much like a sales tax, would allow you to keep all your paycheck and would get rid of the IRS. What this blog is all about.
This is an outpost of prayer for GOP Candidate Mike Huckabee. As many of you know he wants to bring Christian values and leadership to our nation, and I believe he has opened himself up to Gods will to run for the White House. These are dark times, far darker than most people realize, but God wants to still bless our nation in spite of the way we as a nation have treated him. The choices we make in this campaign will impact our nation and our world for many years to come. This can be a time of new light and hope for our country or a slip into further darkness, and our actions will make the difference.
There are numerous ways that we can support this man of God but none of them compare to seeking the face of God and interceding for him. With God all things are possible, and mountains can be moved and cast into the sea. If we are i the will of God the Word promises us that he will even provide for us the desires of our heart. So my first wish is this, Pray for Mike at least one hour a day and get anyone you can to do the same. When doing so listen to Gods voice and do what he wants. I know that sounds simple, and it is, but I think he will see to it you are very busy. You will also likely be full of joy if you are following Gods will. I only ask you to do this while Mike is campaigning, and if he makes it in the White House while he is in office. Will you do this for this man of God who is literaly offering up himself and his life to serve you?
